Schools

Did you know Flying Saucers is a popular destination for school trips and activities?

Schools whom we have recently worked with include, Colden J&I, Shade Primary School, Castle Hill, Triangle Primary School, Haworth Primary School, Myrtle Park (Bingley) and Deeplish School (Rochdale). School groups often paint pottery along the theme of their current lesson plan - not only for art classes, but also for history, geography, science etc. Or sometimes for commemorative purposes, for example painting tiles to create a tile wall to celebrate an anniversary or opening of a new building, or even to celebrate a national event - something that the children would remember for many years to come!

Our studio seats up to 28. or we can also come out to visit you at the school if you would like to run a pottery painting project with the whole school or a large year group.

On Mondays in term time we open only for school or large group bookings, staying closed to the general public. Other week day sessions can also be made available.

Bespoke packages will be designed according to your needs - please contact Matt on 01422 846666 or matt@flyingsaucers.co.uk to discuss your requirements. We can offer larger school groups a generous discount on our normal studio pricing.
